An uninvited “guest” during hiking

IMG_3492 Hiking, one of the best way to release pressure, to relax, pamper the busy mind.  Breath fresh air.

There are many different kind of trails here. In general, it is classified by Family Walk, Nature Trail and Country Trail.  Well, of course, I took easy one most of time i.e. Family Walk 😛

Couldn’t wait to have a walk during Easter long weekend.  Went to Lamma Island.  Well, last time it took less than an hour for me to walk from one side of pier to another side.  Thought would be easy and enjoyable.

But this time, we walked really slow.  And tried some side track.  Turn out it took 4 hours.  Totally out of my expectation.

And AND AND something spoiled my great mood at the beginning of trip.  A big, fat and shiny snake crossed a path in front of me.  I tried my best not to scream.  It moved so quick even with a fat body.  My knees were so weak, I couldn’t move.

So I was worried in the whole trip and worried about there would other snakes around.  Tried not to look around.  Just kept walking.

Frankly, was a fantastic trip other than the snake part.

Fundraising for those who suffered from earthquake in Christchurch

Hey All,

For the period May 22nd to June 6th 2011 I’ll be cycling from Lands End in Cornwall to John O’Groats in Scotland. It’s the bottom to the top of the UK! Approximately 1,100 miles ( 1,800 km ). I’m doing it with 12 others from Chester Triathlon club.

Although living in Chester UK, most of you will know that I’m actually from Christchurch New Zealand. This year a devastating earthquake hit Christchurch on 22nd Feb killing more than 160 people and injuring around 2,500. Although my family are ok there are many others who have not been so fortunate and are in great need of support. This is very close to my heart as many people I know have been affected by this in any number of ways from loosing there jobs to houses.

I would like to dedicate this bike ride and raise funds for the Red Cross New Zealand earthquake appeal. Although the charity shows as the generic Red Cross UK I assure you that I have contacted the Red Cross and all funds will be going to the Christchurch appeal.

Please support me and my fellow Cantabrians back home in Christchurch New Zealand by sponsoring me for this bike ride.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Who are you looking for?

Million of fishes in ocean.  Which one would you get?

What kind of person are you looking for?

Nice,  humorous, good looking or rich?

There are so many nice people around.   If nice is sufficent for love, why there are still so many people being single.  There should be something more than that.

If no lucks to be in love with a nice person, why can’t turn it to bbf?

Sadly, some of people turn away when you not sleep with them.

Some of people stay away when you don’t want to be their gf.

Is there real friendship between man and woman?

Buy or Rent?

a sell flat

Property market goes crazy here.  Price keep boosting to a sky high level.  But still most people would like to have their own house.  Well, should say flat or apartment.  Houses here are for rich people only.  Most people can’t afford any houses.

Hong Kong is so small.  Not much flat lands, mostly mountains instead.  So a well-known concrete jungle.  Full of high rising building.

People work hard in their entire lives for an apartment.  Apartments are small here, around 700-800 square feet.  30% down payment for buying a flat.  The rest with bank mortgage which pay up in 20 years.  It do sound terrible.  Most of income goes to mortgage.  Still, people don’t like to rent a flat as they feel like helping others to pay the mortgage.

All my friends suggested me to sell my small place.  Well, still under mortgage.  But the price boosted to double.  I can never save that amount of money by working hard as a small potato.  I love my small messy place.  But I do need money as well.  Especially, I don’t have saving.  Have to prepare for retirement life lol .  Yes, old enough to think about it.  I can start up something new if I sold the flat.   Might be going to somewhere else…..

So sell the flat or keep it.  It bothered me.  Mid life crisis here!!!!
